121 portraits of the real life by David Lynch

June 1, 2009

photo_davidThe first episode of David Lynch’s Interview Project has launched today!
Interview Project is the result of a 20,000 mile road trip across the USA in seventy days. During this journey film director David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire) and his team made a series of 121 portraits of random strangers they met along the road, in bars and other locations. From today, during one year, you can watch a new episode of the mini-documentaries every three days.

It’s great to see a different type of work by Mr. Lynch. This time it aren’t dwarfs, rabbits or blondes that make you wonder, but ordinary (and sometimes extraordinary) people who were asked questions about life, death and dreams.

Click here to view portrait # 113 in advance, and don’t forget to visit the website for the first episode and the official trailer of Interview Project.
