Porcelain Jesus & Co.

September 22, 2009

Former comic writer and illustrator Massimo Giacon is a designer for Italian design factory Alessi. He’s one of the creatives behind the Figure Line of Alessi. According to Alessi this line contains mostly ‘purposeless’ porcelain figures, but I think that being cute is simply a great function!

I love this adorable, modern version of the Nativity scene that Giacon designed together with LPWK in 2007 and that has just been enlarged with the shepherd and his two tiny little sheep and the other statuettes that are shown outside the ‘crib’.

The white stable with baby Jesus and his family costs approx.
65 euros and that is quite the amount. Added to wish list and not yet to cart!
