Clarks Desert Boots Charity Auction

December 8, 2009

Clarks Originals is celebrating its 60th anniversary and doesn’t party alone! The British shoe brand asked sixteen Dutch and Belgium illustrators and artists to customize its cult classic design, the Desert Boot. My personal favorites are below.

The one of a kind crêpe sole shoes – who come in various sizes – are up for auction at Ebay now and the full profit will be donated to Warchild. Only until 10th of December 2009, you have the change to bid on the walkable art pieces. HAPPY BIDDING! 🙂

Besides the artist auction, Clarks also released a series of 60th anniversary limited editions of the Desert Boot for the A/W collection 2009/2010. All of them are inspired by one of the six decades in which the Desert Boot was a fashion icon.
