Kiki likes Furoshiki

March 14, 2011

Lush understands sustainability. Not only with its handmade products with as much as possible all-natural ingredients, but also when it comes to the packaging of goods and the wrapping of gifts. Inspired by the Japanese traditional wrapping cloth Furoshiki, the people at Lush recently developed a fabric that has been made of 100% reclycled plastic (the black Lush containers).

According to Japanese tradition you wrap a present in a reusable material and the receiver gives it back to you, so that you can use it again and again. Besides several Furoshiki cloths (€ 3.95), you can also choose from pre-wrapped goodies at Lush, like the new Little Green Bag (containing a Furoshiki, Jungle Conditioner, Squeaky Green Shampoo Bar, Mini Sugar Scrub, Sea Vegetable Zeep, Mini Each Peach Massagebar, Shampoo Bar Tin – € 29.95).
